Online vs Real Life

Hey guys!
Today I'm going to tell you a little about who I am both online and in real life. If I were to describe myself in three words the first one I would pick would be determined. I always find myself working towards a goal, whether that be in school to benefit my future, or in the things I love to do. Every day I work towards my goals in photography to grow and improve my skills. In saying this, I believe I'm very determined to reach goals and achieve my dreams. The second word I would use is adventurous. I'm always open to try new things and stand out. I love the outdoors and greatly enjoy exploring the deep woods and open waters of nature. Lastly I would describe myself as caring. I always put others first and try to accomplish things not only for myself but to help and encourage others. I also love to teach new things and take time out of my day to do so. Online I like to consider myself more of a watcher then a doer. I don't think that you should alter yourself depending upon who is viewing you, and that's why I believe staying the same online vs offline is important. I like to sit back and view what others post rather than going out and making a post myself. I'm a pretty shy person in real life, and I like to think that I'm the same online.

Where it All Started

Hey Everyone!      Lets start with my photography journey, and where it all started. Back in Sixth grade i got my very first camera. A little Nikon cool pix filled my life with happiness as i snapped pictures of the weirdest things and was so proud of the hideous pictures i took. It was about the time in which i was going on a trip to Washington DC. I was so excited to take my new pride and joy with me, and snap pictures of all the memories i was sure i would make. While on this trip i grew to love photography, and began taking pictures with crazy angles and messing with the edits. My friends and i would goof around and take pictures pretending we were holding different monuments. I loved how photography allowed me to get really creative.      That's when i got home and told my mom i wanted a new camera. She thought i was crazy and rolled her eyes at me. I explained how much fun i had taking pictures, but she just brushed it off. That night a start...

Reviewing My Camera: Nikon D3100

Hey guys!      So today I'm going to fill you all in about me and my camera. My very first camera was a Nikon, and as of today i still shoot the same brand that I used when i first fell in love with photography. Nikon has been a joy of ups and downs to work with, and overall i love the company. Multiple times previously I have used a canon as well, both in stores trying it out, or outside in an actual session with one of my good friends. After using both a Nikon and a Canon, i'm still here with my pride and possession, the Nikon d3100.      I love the endless possibilities with my camera. As a girl in high school who enjoys photography just as a hobby, this Camera meets all my needs. Its still classified as an entry level Camera, but is still more complex than any canon, allowing the never ending limits. The Nikon d3100 is built around a 14.2 megapixel sensor, allowing not only live view, but full HD video. This within its self allows many possibilities...
